OPEN-C

Supports the mission of Offshore Proof by enhancing the value proposition of its offshore tidal test site in Brittany. By facilitating performance validation, pilot actions, and environmental assessments, OPEN-C aims to attract more developers, boost market uptake of tidal technologies, and position itself as a nationally recognised offshore test site contributing to marine renewable energy accreditation in France.

POM West Flanders (POM-WVL)

Supports the Offshore Proof mission by increasing the value proposition of the Blue Accelerator test site. Through this initiative, POM aims to attract more users and business opportunities by professionalising testing services, facilitating cross-sector innovation, and positioning the site as a key hub for validating offshore renewable technologies.

North Sea Farmers

Supports the mission of Offshore Proof with its Offshore Test Site and its experience in operational co-use projects offshore as well as in wind farms. NSF aims to promote innovation pilots by making it easier for them to test in realistic offshore conditions at affordable rates. By adding additional services to the Offshore Test Site NSF aims to improve its proposition to potential pilot initiatives. Specifically for energy related pilots but where possible also other types of co-use pilots where these could benefit from the knowledge developed in Offshore Proof.

Fraunhofer

Advances the mission of Offshore Proof by providing access to its Helgoland offshore test site and contributing deep expertise in materials testing under harsh marine conditions, including corrosion and biofouling. Building on its leadership in applied research, Fraunhofer supports the certification and market uptake of robust, sustainable offshore energy technologies.

UGent and BLUEGent

Contribute to Offshore Proof by showcasing their complementary expertise to support the upscaling of wave and tidal energy innovations. Physical testing in the Coastal Ocean Basin, evaluating wave and tidal impacts on infrastructure, enables step-up testing from lab to sea. In parallel, BLUEGent applies Social Cost-Benefit Analysis (SCBA) to estimate the economic viability of these innovations. Together, they support projections towards full-scale offshore implementation, while contributing to high-TRL validation and the standardisation of test infrastructures in line with IEC frameworks.
